Happy Independence Day
Merry Gold School also celebrates this festival every year. For this year, we had made all the preparations. The Principal Mam was the Chief Guest of the Programme. In the morning NCC cadets of our school marched out in a procession through the main streets of the town with a band playing the National Song (Vande Mataram).
Doctor's Meet
A team of doctors came to our school for a doctor-student meeting. The doctors in this meeting gave us valuable suggestions over health problems. They first explained how important is our health. Without good health, we cannot do anything. So, it is very necessary to be fit and healthy. They also told us to avoid junk foods because these are unhealthy.
Raksha Bandhan
Merry Gold School's students celebrated Raksha Bandhan with full zeal and endeavour that one associate with this auspicious festival. The main objective behind celebrating ‘Raksha Bandhan’ was making the children aware about the virtuous bond of love between a brother and a sister which is one of the deepest and noblest of all human emotions.
Annual Sports Day
Today a school without games and sports is unthinkable, as sports and games have become an integral element of present-day education. Our school’s Annual Sports Day was held on generally a month of preparation procedes the day. All the children were divided into four houses and respective sports groups such as senior junior and sub-junior.
